mmm, nice to wake up and for once hear wind whistling outside the house. Went to Hove at 10ish and it was almost perfect. Brilliant sunshine, good waves, low tide, big audience but it was just a bit weak on the wind. 5 more mph would have been great, instead it was hard work. Nevermind, sailed for 3 hours on 5.5m and 73l wave board. (note to self....must buy 100lt board). The longshore was strong, and wave rides took you way downwind because it was quite onshore, but made it back with no walk of shame, just a LOT of pumping. Lots of kites out, lots of windsurfers, a real showpiece day for the prom walkers.
